ENERGY-EFFICIENT “BARCHESSA”

ENERGY-EFFICIENT “BARCHESSA”

RESTORATION AND ENERGY UPGRADE OF ENVELOPE AND SYSTEMS FOR THE FINAL SECTION OF BUILDING ALONG THE BACCHIGLIONE RIVER

We have previously tackled the restoration and energy requalification of the Villa (1500-1700) and a “barchessa” (1800) within a complex of historic buildings along the Bacchiglione River. Now, it’s time to conclude this series of projects by addressing the last section. The “barchessa” adjacent to the Villa will undergo restoration and energy requalification, adhering to the principles of preservation and efficiency that we have previously implemented.

The projects will be executed in collaboration with the Venetian Architectural Heritage Superintendent to restore habitability to this distinguished property through comprehensive energy requalification and systems enhancement. Concurrently, seismic improvements to load-bearing structures will be implemented.
